Cadet Tutoring

The Student Success Program, in conjunction with the Corps of Cadets, provides tutoring for students enrolled in MATH 0099 through MATH 2450, ENGL 1101, ENGL 1102, HIST 1112, HIST 2111, and HIST 2112.

Cadets repeating one or more of these subjects must attend mandatory tutoring sessions:

MATH: Mondays and Wednesdays, 7-9 p. m., in the MLC

HISTORY 1112: Tuesdays and Thursdays, 7-9 p. m., in the MLC

ENGLISH 1101: Tuesdays, 8-10 p. m. in 306 Dunlap Hall

Non-Cadet Tutoring

The Student Success Program realizes that non-cadet students also need tutoring, including those who are academically referred. Therefore, civilians may receive free tutoring in any subject as well. Visit Melissa Lach, 222 Barnes, to complete a "Request for Tutoring" application. Tutoring can be arranged around student schedules.

How to Become a Tutor

Tutors are selected via faculty recommendations or from those with a minimum overall GPA of 3.0/4.0 in the major. All tutors are required to complete a training program offered by the Student Success Program.
