INTRO

There are several types of orientation programs (INTRO) at NGCSU. These programs are available in the summer for students admitted for the fall, spring, and summer semesters.

Spring Term

• Orientation Date for students starting in Spring of 2010

Summer Term

• Orientation Date for students starting in the Summer of 2009 (not part of STP or Summer Institute) April 15, 2009 Register HERE 

Fall Term

• Traditional Freshman (those students who have been out of high school for less than 5 years with less than 30 hours of transfer credit) may attend a 3 day/ 2 night orientation session on the NGCSU campus. This orientation is designed for students who will be commuting and those who will be living on campus. Click here for more information.

  Summer 2010 Freshman Orientation Dates

  INTRO 1: June 6-8
  INTRO 2: June 15-17
  INTRO 3: July  11-13
  INTRO 4: August 8-10

• Non-Traditional / Transfer / Post Bac/ Former Students 
  Non-Traditional students have been out of high school for more than 5 years, have dependents, or are married. Transfer Students are students who are transfering to NGCSU with more than 30 hours of credit. INTRO for these students is a one night orientation. Students who are eligible for this session and have paid their confirmation fee will be mailed an invitation and registration information. Click here for more information.

• Gainesville Campus Student  
  The Gainesville Orientation is for students who are taking all of their classes on the Gainesville State College Campus. If you are entering NGCSU this Fall and plan to enroll in classes in Business on the Gainesville State College Campus, this special orientation session is designed to ease the transition. Click here for more information.
