Summer 2008
L-5 Certificate Endorsement Program in Building Level Leadership
45 PLU Credits
6 Courses/3 Intrernships
 

Location: North Forsyth High School
Application Deadline: May 1
Program Dates: Summer 2008 - Summer 2009
Class Schedule: Summer Classes - lst and 2nd short sessions
  Proposed for Tuesday & Thursday, 5:00 pm-8:30 pm
  One course each short session (5 1/2 weeks each session - two nights per week)
Two classes each summer
  Fall & Spring Classes
  Saturday, 9:00 am-1:00 pm
  One course and one internship per semester
  Fall semester will include TSS endorsement classes
Cost: $4,500 tuition - does not include books/materials

Fall 2008
EDS Program in School & District Level Leadership with L-6 Certification
32 College Semester Hours

Location: Gainesville State College University Center
Application Deadline: July 1 (new date - extended deadline)
Application Fee $40
Program Dates: Fall 2008 - Fall 2009
Class Schedule: All semesters
  Proposed for Monday and Wednesday, 5:00 pm-8:30 pm
  two classes (6 semester hrs) & an internship (2 semester hrs)
per semester

General Admission Requirements for EDS Program

  • Master's degree in a teaching field
  • L-5 certificate
  • Three years' teaching experience
  • Employment in a leadership position
  • Graduate grade point average of 3.25 or better
  • Satisfactory scores which are no more than 6 years old on either the Miller Analogies Test (MAT) (at least a 48/400) or Graduate Record Exam (GRE) (at least 1,000 v&q combined)

EDL Certification Program

Location: Targeted for Forsyth Campus
Program Dates: Fall 2008 and Spring 2009
Class Schedule: Tuesday and Saturday twice a month

Admission Requirements for the EDL Program at Forsyth Campus

  • Graduate application (paper form only) under "Admissions Information" section, check
      x Post Graduate (non-degree)
      x Other - EDL Program Forsyth

Do not apply online (requires payment).  No additional documents necessary. Submit updated graduate application verifying current address, etc. Graduate Admissions will create a new record for you in BANNER for the EDL certification program, and Teacher Education will make the acceptance decisions.
