NGCSU ANNOUNCES NEW MASTERS PROGRAM
  Office of Graduate Admissions

Financial Aid Information for Graduate Students

Always check with the Office of Student Financial Aid for the most up-to-date information and financial aid application deadlines.

If you are considering applying for a graduate program at NGCSU, other than the Doctorate Program in Physical Therapy, you should complete the FAFSA so that potential sources of financial aid can be identified for you.  If you are considering applying for the Doctorate Program in Physical Therapy, financial aid for this program is through Medical College of Georgia, and you should contact MCG's Financial Aid Office for financial aid application instructions.

  • You must be fully accepted, degree-seeking in order to qualify for any financial aid.  If you are accepted pending official documentation or if you are accepted with provisional or irregular admission graduate status, you will not qualify for financial aid while enrolled in classes under these admission status types.  Once you have been accepted to NGCSU with regular admission status, you may qualify assuming all other criteria are met.
  • Not all graduate programs qualify for financial aid, i.e., certification programs, certain online programs, teacher endorsement programs.  Check with the Office of Student Financial Aid to determine if the program of interest qualifies for the loans you may need to fulfill your educational goals.

Hope Teacher Scholarships

The Hope Teacher Scholarship program provides funds for teachers to pursue an advanced degree in critical need teaching fields.  Application for the Hope Teacher Scholarship is handled by the Certification Officer in Teacher Education.  The funds are distributed on a first-come, first-served basis and continue until the funds are exhausted.

Graduate Assistantships

Any graduate assistantships that might be available are offered through the graduate program itself.  Contact the program for more information.
