- Combine this scholarship with HOPE Scholarship and ROTC Grant for Georgia state residents, and recipients actually make more in benefits than the total cost to attend North Georgia. If you're an out-of-state student, you'll still pay the in-state tuition, resulting in savings of $8,000 per year.

International Affairs at North Georgia
An International Affairs (BA) degree provides a solid foundation if you are interested in pursuing a career in diplomacy and related fields. The degree requires an area of regional specialization (Asia, Europe, Latin America, and the Middle East are offered), study abroad, and an international internship. In order to enhance your cross cultural skills, advanced foreign language training is highly encouraged as part of developing regional expertise. Above and beyond the region specific coursework, you will become well versed in the field through courses in International Political Economy, International Security Issues, International Organizations, Comparative Government, and International Relations Theory, thus providing you with a broad understanding of international relations outside of your regional area. The degree is designed to prepare you for careers in international diplomacy, international service careers, and for further study in International Affairs and International Business.
