Army ROTC is a world class leadership development program.

If
you wish, you can serve your country in one of the most respected
professions in the nation: an officer in the profession
of arms. North Georgia is the
the place for you to start! Our progressive military training
is innovative in preparing ROTC cadets to take charge as officers
in today's Army. If you choose to take the path to officership,
you will have one of the best jobs available to any college
graduate in the nation.
On your first day on the job you will be a platoon leader
and responsible for more than 30 soldiers and millions of
dollars worth of government equipment. On top of that,
you'll receive between $50,000 and $58,000 a year in salary,
30 days paid vacation, and free medical insurance.You
also do not have to pay into a retirement plan, and you can
still retire after 20 years! There is no other job for a college
graduate that offers as much room for personal and professional
development, in addition to the benefits package, than that
of a Second Lieutenant in the United States Army.
In less than 4 years after graduating, you will receive 2
promotions and be making $80-,000 - $83,000a year as a Captain in the
United States Army.
Another opportunity available to our graduates is service in the
National Guard or United States Army Reserves. As
an officer in the Guard or the Reserve you will be able to
serve your country and pursue any civilian career your wish.
Guard officers are eligible for many of the same benefits
as Active Duty officers such as, educational assistance, inexpensive
life insurance, and space available military flight privileges.
Additional benefits unique to Guard and Reserve officers are
job placement assistance and hiring preferences.
On top of these benefits, Guard and Reserve officers make
in excess of $7,000 a year as lieutenants, and in seven years
with two promotions, a captain in the Guard/Reserve makes
almost $10,000 a year. This money is in addition to the salary
that Guard and Reserve officers earn with their civilian
jobs. If you wish to serve your country, but you have
a civilian career to pursue as well, then becoming an officer
in the Guard or Reserve could be the perfect choice for you!

As a Lieutenant in the in United States Army, there are many
different jobs that you can do. The Army has 16 basic branches
for second lieutenants. These branches range from combat arms
branches such Infantry and Armor, to combat service support
branches such as the Transportation Corps. As a lieutenant
you can lead a platoon of Airborne Infantry soldiers or plan
logistical support for battalions and brigades of soldiers. To

Reserve Officer’s Training Corps Partnership for Youth Success (RPAYS)

ROTC PaYS is a strategic partnership between the U.S. Army Reserve, Army National Guard and a cross section of U.S. industries and public sector agencies. The purpose of ROTC PaYS is to help you gain entry or middle management positions within top American companies after you graduate from North Georgia as a commissioned Army Reserve or National Guard officer.

Apply and get accepted to North Georgia
Select a potential company that participates in the program, while you are a cadet in the Corps of Cadets
Interview with your employer during your senior year in college
Commission and serve in the U.S. Army Reserve or Army National Guard after graduation while working for a company that supports your commitment
