Registration/Money Questions
How do I register for a class?
Everyone is encouraged to pre-register for continuing education activities by completing
our printable registration form.
Download and complete registration form, and then mail it, fax it, or bring it to our office. Or you can call 706-864-1918
to register and pay with a credit card. We accept MasterCard, VISA, and Discover. Participants are accepted on a first come, first served basis.
What is the deadline to register for my class?
Most classes don't have an official deadline to register. It is a good idea to register as early
as possible for several reasons:
1. Register early because classes fill up quickly and are filled on a first-come, first-served basis.
2. Register early so your class isn't canceled due to low enrollment. We must make the call to cancel classes 3 - 5 days prior to
the start date. Sometimes one more registration will allow us to hold a class we were considering canceling!
How do I pay for my class?
We accept cash, personal checks, money orders, MasterCard, VISA, and Discover, or we can invoice your company. Exact
change is appreciated if you are paying with cash. Make checks payable to NGCSU.
Can I register for my class online?
Not yet. We are working towards offering complete online registration in the future. You can, however, select
your class, download, print, and complete the registration form from the internet to speed up your registration process.
In addition, now you can also download the waiver form if your class requires it.
Do you offer any discounts?
Yes, we offer several discounts on instructor-led classes only. Currently, we do not offer discounts for online classes, Wellness Center, music lessons, or travel programs.
- 10% Discount to anyone over the age of 62. (You must show ID at time of registration.)
- 10% Discount to NGCSU Faculty, Staff, and Students. (You must show ID at time of registration.)

What is a CEU?
A Continuing Education Unit (CEU) is a measure used in continuing education programs,
particularly those required in a licensed profession in order for the professional to maintain the license.
CEU records are widely used to provide evidence of completion of continuing education requirements mandated by
certification bodies, professional societies, or governmental licensing boards.
The records also provide employers with information on training pertinent to particular occupations.

Will I receive CEU credits for my class?
One CEU (1.0) may be awarded for each ten (10) contact hours of completed course work. Partial CEUs may also be awarded. Please tell someone on the continuing education team or your instructor if you wish to receive CEU credit for your class.
