FRANKLIN NAMED TO PBC WOMEN'S SOCCER ALL-CONFERENCE TEAM
Augusta, Ga. – Freshman forward Elizabeth Franklin was named as an At-Large Selection to the 2005 Peach Belt Conference women's soccer All-Conference team announced today by PBC officials.
Franklin, a 5-6 striker from Lilburn, Ga., lead the Lady Saints in points (23), goals (10), and assists (3) this season and was ranked 10th in the conference in points and tied for fourth in goals scored her freshman season. She helped lead the North Georgia women's soccer program in its first season in the PBC and NCAA and scored a goal in each of the Lady Saints victories this season.
Olaitan Yusuf from Clayton State University was selected as Player of the Year in the conference after leading CU to share of the 2005 PBC Championship. Columbus State University's Kellie Myles was named Freshman of the Year along with head coach Jay Entlich who named Coach of the Year after leading CSU to the #1 seed in the tournament.
