REINHARDT UPENDS NORTH GEORGIA 3-1 IN WOMEN'S SOCCER

Waleska, Ga. - The Lady Eagles evened their Southern States Athletic Conference record with a 3-1 win over the Lady Saints Monday afternoon. With the win, Reinhardt improves to 7-5-0 overall and 4-4-0 in the conference while North Georgia drops to 9-6-1 and 5-4-0 in the conference.

The Lady Eagles struck early off of a corner kick that was netted by Jennifer Kracy at the 8:19 mark. Sophomore midfielder Meredith Lee (Lilburn, Ga.) tied the game in the 13th minute, but that would be the only goal North Georgia would be able to score for the rest of the match. RC netted its second goal in the 19th minute when Kracy passed to sister Sam Kracy who headed the ball in for the score. The Lady Eagles put the match out of reach in the second half when Bony Rodriquez cut through the defense to score the final goal.

The Lady Saints return to action on Thursday as they face Shorter College in a rescheduled home match at 5:00 pm. RC takes on Berry College at home Tuesday at 4:00 pm.
