LADY SAINTS SHUTOUT LADY BULLDOGS 2-0 FOR SEASON OPENER WIN

Dahlonega, Ga. - Freshman goalkeeper Kelly Conarro (Atlanta, Ga.) made two saves and recorded her first career shutout as she helped led the North Georgia College & State University defense to a 2-0 shutout in their opening match of the season.

It didn't take long for the Saints offense to get in gear as junior midfielder Brittny Peck (Lawrenceville, Ga.) scored her first goal of the season only one minute and 23 second into the match. Sophomore striker Jessica Williams (Flowery Branch, Ga.) put the second goal of the game in at the 41st minute off of an assist from sophomore defender Meg Cary (Athens, Ga.).

The Lady Bulldogs will be on the road again as they head to Cumberland College next Tuesday with the match beginning at 4:00 pm. The Saints be on the road next Monday as they head down to Gainesville to take on Brenau University at 5:00 pm.
