LADY SAINTS JUMP ONE TO #15 IN LATEST NAIA POLL
Dahlonega, Ga. – With only two more ranking coming out before the final rating, the North Georgia College & State University women's basketball team moved up one spot in the rankings to #15 in the NAIA Division I women's basketball ratings released yesterday afternoon.
The Lady Saints went 2-0 last week as they defeated Georgia Southwestern State University on Monday and Auburn University Montgomery on Thursday. With 140 total points, North Georgia narrowly missed moving up to the #14 spot, but Carroll edged out the Lady Saints with 142 total points.
Numbers one and two swapped places at the top of the ratings this week as Houston Baptist took the #1 spot for the first time this season, while Vanguard dropped to #2 after holding the top ranking for four weeks.
SSAC rivals Brewton-Parker and Lee University continued to be listed in the top teams, with the Lady Barons moving up one spot to eighth and the Lady Flames falling two spots to 22.
