BRACKETS SET FOR 2005 NAIA WOMEN'S BASKETBALL TOURNAMENT

Jackson, Tenn. – The National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) has released the bracket for the 25th Annual NAIA Division I Women's Basketball National Championship. The 32-team single-elimination tournament is March 16-22 and will be played at Oman Arena. All game times are Central Standard Time with the championship game to be televised live nationally on College Sports Television (CSTV).

Ninth ranked North Georgia College & State University will face Campbellsville University in the first round on Wednesday at 5:45 p.m. (CST). The Lady Saints received a third seed in the Quarter 1 of the first round after finishing the season with their fourth straight conference tournament championship and a 25-7 record overall.

The Lady Tigers finished the season 17-13 overall and 7-3 in the Mid-South Conference. This will be the second straight year that North Georgia has faced CU in the National Tournament. Last year, the Lady Saints defeated the Lady Tigers 70-60 in the second round of the tournament.

Fellow Southern States Athletic Conference School's Brewton-Parker College and Lee University will play on Thursday in Quarter 2 and 3. The sixth seed Lady Flames will face third seed Columbia at 9:00 a.m. (CST) and fourth seed BPC will take on fifth seed Azusa Pacific at 2:15 p.m. (CST).
