David Beall enters his third year as a student assistant in the SID office and will be the interim director for the remainder of 2007-08. The last three years his responsibilities included maintaining the website, keeping stats at sporting events, announcing soccer games, and writing press releases. As a college sophomore, he co-headed the Sports Information office for the remaining three months of the spring semester coordinating all baseball, softball and tennis media relations. He also started an online newsletter called the “Saints Insider” that gave weekly updates on the Saints sports teams and included exclusive interviews with players and coaches.

Beall has worked with Atlanta based Sports Radio 680 The Fan (ESPN radio) from 2004-2006. His duties included assisting in producing the popular afternoon talk show “Buck and Kincade” throughout the summer of 2004. During his tenure with ESPN radio he was also the stations game day reporter for the Atlanta Braves, Atlanta Falcons, Georgia Tech football and Basketball, and University of Georgia football. He conducted interviews with players and coaches during this time that aired daily on 680 The Fan.

Beall is currently in his senior year at North Georgia College & State University where he is working towards a degree in Business Management. He is also beginning his third year as a member of the Saints cross country team and second year as team captain.

Kaelin Farrington is in her first year as a student assistant in the North Georgia Sports Information Office. Her responsibilities include, game day preparations, maintaining the website, assisting in day-to-day operations, and keeping stats at sporting events.

Farrington is currently in her senior year at North Georgia College & State University where she is working towards a degree in Middle Grades Education. She is also in her first year as a member of the Lady Saints Softball team.

Jessica Skeels is in her first year as a student assistant in the North Georgia Sports Information Office. Her responsibilities include, game day preparations, maintaining the website, and assisting in day-to-day operations.

Skeels is currently in her sophomore year at North Georgia College & State University where she is working towards a degree in Early Childhood Education. She is also in her second year as a member of the Lady Saints Softball team. As a freshman, Skeels hit .350 and drove in 46 runs while blasting 8 home runs.
