CREAMER AND RAYNOR SIGN WITH SAINTS SOFTBALL
Dahlonega, Ga. - Jennifer Creamer and Page Raynor have signed national letters of intent to play softball at North Georgia College & State University, announced today by fifth year head coach Mike Davenport.
Creamer is currently finishing her senior year at Kell High School in Marietta, Ga. This past season, the catcher/first baseman led the Lady Longhorns to the 5-A state championship for the second consecutive year. The lefty batted .346 with 3 homeruns and 31 RBI's. She was also named to the 2004 5-A first team All-State.
Raynor is a senior at Sequoyah High School in Canton, Ga. This season she led the Lady Chiefs to a 23-8 overall record and an appearance in the Elite Eight of the 5-A state championship. She was a four year letter-winner in softball and also a member of the Air Force JROTC program for four years. This past season she was selected to the All-Region team as well as the 5-A All-State second team.
The Lady Saints finished last year ranked 10 th in the nation with a 48-13 overall record and won the conference regular season and tournament titles. The 2005 season kicks off this spring on February 16 at home as they take on Claflin University at 1:00 p.m.
