NORTH GEORGIA DEFEATS PFEIFFER 5-4
Saints picks up first win of season

Dahlonega, GA - North Georgia College & State University picked up their first win of the season against Pfeiffer University here on a cold Saturday afternoon.

In doubles action, Cornelis Bal and Samuel Moore were defeated by PU’s A.J. Flores and Frank Pouchet 7-9 at #1; Jake Eastwood and Gustavo Carballal defeated PU's Guilherme Chiarmonti and T.J. Maurer 9-7 at #2; and Vlad Lumezeanu and William Davis defeated PU’s Daniel Morehead and Cody Simpson 8-6 at #3.

In singles action, North Georgia’s Moore defeated PU’s Maurer 6-4, 6-4; at #2 PU’s Flores defeated Eastwood 1-6, 0-6; at #3 PU’s Chiarmonti 7-5, 4-6, 10-6; at #4 Carballal defeated PU’s Pouchet 6-1, 6-4; at #5 Lumezeanu defeated PU’s Morehead 6-1, 6-0; and at #6 William Davis lost to PU’s Simpson 6-7, 0-1.
