SAINTS LOSE 4-0 DECISION TO THOMAS
NightHawks score all four goals in the second half

Thomasville, GA - North Georgia College & State University was unable to overcome a second half explosion by Thomas University, en route to falling 4-0 on the road in non-conference soccer action Thursday afternoon.

The two teams battled to a 0-0 halftime draw, until the NightHawks erupted for four goals in the final 45 minutes against NGCSU back-up goalkeeper Vince Neal.

After a scoreless first half, the Night Hawks found their attack midway thru the second half when freshman Andy Powery got on the back end of a pass, off the foot of fellow freshman Mike Marx. A relentless Thomas attack put the game away with goals from sophomore Josh Bruno (2) and junior Chris Chilcott.

Brandon Kirksey started the game in goal for the Saints.

North Georgia (1-6, 0-1 PBC) returns to action on Saturday in non-conference action against the University of Alabama-Huntsville. Kick-off is scheduled at 2 pm at the NGCSU Soccer Complex.
