ALVAREZ AND PELLICCIA NAMED TO 2005 PBC ALL-TOURNAMENT TEAM

Morrow, Ga. – A pair of North Georgia College & State University seniors in Rene Alvarez and Ciro Pelliccia were selected to the 2005 Peach Belt Conference All-Tournament team.

Alvarez and Pelliccia both chipped in an assists in the Saints 2-1 upset of fourth seed Lander University last week in the first round of the tournament. The pair also played well in North Georgia's semifinal loss to eventual conference champion Clayton State University on Saturday. Combined, the midfield and striker combination have accounted for 14 goals, 10 assists, and 38 points for the Saints this season.
