NORTH GEORGIA BLOWS PAST EMMANUEL 89-74
Dahlonega, Ga. - The Saints shot 55% from the floor for the game as they sailed past the Lions 89-74 Monday night in Memorial Gymnasiums. North Georgia closes 2004 6-4 overall and 2-2 in the Southern States Athletic Conference, while Emmanuel College drops to 2-10 overall and 1-4 in the conference. The Saints took the lead in the first half and never looked back as they jumped out to a 14-7 lead early in the first half. Lions sophomore guard Shavoye Brown's (Hartwell, Ga.) jumper at the 11:50 mark cut the lead to four, but that was the closest Emmanuel got for the rest of the game. |
