SAINTS AND LADY SAINTS BAKSETBALL
LISTED IN LATEST NAIA STATISTICS

Dahlonega, Ga. - North Georgia College & State University men's and women's basketball teams are listed among the leaders in the latest statistics announced this week.

For the first time all season, junior guard Katie Williamson (Suwanee, Ga.) drops out of the top spot in the nation to second in free throws after a tough week. She is currently shooting 89.4% (118-for-132) from the charity stripe. Junior forward Jeanine Dorminey (Tifton, Ga.) moved up two spots and is ranked 12th in blocks (1.75 bpg). As a team, the Lady Saints are first in the nation in free throw percentage (77.2%), fifth in defensive rebounds (27.92 rbg), and eighth in blocked shots (4.33 bpg). North Georgia is also ranked 12 th in defensive field goal percentage (36.3%), 15 th in field goal percentage (44.9%) and rebounding margin (+6.75), 17 th in total rebounding offense (41.17), and 18 th in scoring average (75.04 ppg).

On the men's side, sophomore guard Matt Causey (Gainesville, Ga.) moved up in three statistical categories this week. He is ranked third in assists (6.72 apg), fourth in scoring (22.12 ppg), and 10 th in free throw percentage (85.6%). The Saints remain third in the nation in scoring (92.20 ppg) and are ranked 7 th in defensive rebounds (26.6 rpg), and 10 th in free throw percentage (73.8%) and field goal percentage (50.3%). North Georgia is also ranked 15 th in assist/turnover ratio (+1.15), 19 th in blocks (3.48 bpg), and 20 th in total rebounding offense (37.88).

The nationally ranked Saints and Lady Saints return to the court tomorrow as they face conference rival Auburn University Montgomery at 6:00 p.m. and 8:00 p.m. in Memorial Gymnasium.
