SAINTS FALL ONE SPOT TO #21 IN LATEST NAIA RANKINGS

Dahlonega, Ga. – Despite having an overtime victory against conference rival Reinhardt College, the North Georgia College & State University men's basketball team slipped on spot to #21 in the newest rankings released by NAIA officials today.

Last week, the Saints defeated the Eagles 112-108 in overtime to win their seventh consecutive game and secure second place in the Southern States Athletic Conference. The game also marked the 100 th career victory for head coach Chris Faulkner .

The top-10 of the poll was shaken up this week after formally sixth ranked Trevecca Nazarene dropped to 10 th place and Oklahoma Christian fell from fourth to sixth. Northwestern Oklahoma made the largest jump, as they went from unranked to 16 th in the nation.

SSAC rival Southern Polytechnic State University remained in third place overall and received one vote for first place. Berry, who will visit North Georgia tomorrow, did not jump back into the poll, but did receive four votes for the top-25.
