SAINTS RANKED 20TH IN LATEST NAIA POLL

Dahlonega, Ga. - North Georgia College & State University is ranked 20th in the latest NAIA National ranking released today by NAIA officials.

This past week, North Georgia swept its two games against conference foes Faulkner University and Lee University 93-83 and 110-81. With the wins, North Georgia improves to 14-5 overall and 9-2 in the Southern States Athletic Conference. The Saints have lost only once in the new year and face the only two teams to beat them in conference this week. Reinhardt College will visit Dahlonega on Thursday and North Georgia will play third ranked Southern Polytechnic State University on Saturday.

The top three teams all remained in their same positions from last week, and the only team to drop from the top-10 was Lewis-Clarke State, who fell from ninth to 11th. Oklahoma City made the biggest jump of any team, moving from unranked to the 12th spot on the poll with a 12-4 overall record.

NGCSU and SPSU were the only two teams from the SSAC in the top-25 this week. Berry College received five votes for the poll.
