Andrea Moss enters her second year as an assistant softball coach under Mike Davenport at North Georgia College & State University.  Moss will oversee the everyday operations of the softball program, as well as takeover the responsibilities of the pitching staff.  She also assists in the recruiting, hitting, outfield development and camp operations. 

A native of Laurens, South Carolina, Moss is a six-year varsity letter-winner in softball at Laurens District 55 High School.  While there, she earned multiple honors including MVP of the All-Star game and 2003 Region 5 4-A Player of the Year.

At North Georgia College and State University, Andrea Moss recorded a 23-10 record with a 1.99 earned run average on the season, helping her to earn All-Conference honors in her first season with the Saints. A transfer from Kennesaw, Moss appeared in 41 games with 31 starts and 25 complete games. She recorded two shutouts and two saves. During the season, Moss pitched a team-high 210 2/3 innings, walking just 51 batters and striking out 190.  Moss was also named Peach Belt Player of the week during the week of March 6, 2007. 

Since entering the NCAA ranks, Moss holds the record for most wins with 23, complete games with 25, innings pitched with 210.2, and most strikeouts with 190. 

Moss plans to graduate in May 2008 with her Bachelor’s Degree in Physical Education and a minor in Leadership.  After graduation, she plans to continue her education by pursuing her Master’s Degree in P.E. at North Georgia College and State University while continuing to be the Saints assistant softball coach.
