BRISSON NAMED PBC PLAYER OF THE WEEK
The freshman hit .368 from lead-off position in five games against ranked opponents
AUGUSTA, Ga. – North Georgia College & State University outfielder Craig Brisson was chosen as the Peach Belt Conference Player of the Week, announced this afternoon by the conference office.
Brisson, a freshman from Lawrenceville, hit .368 with two runs batted and six runs scored as the leadoff hitter for the Saints. The freshman collected seven hits in 19 at-bats, reaching base 10 times over the course of five games. In a three-game series sweep against 24th-ranked USC Upstate, the freshman went 5-for-12 with four runs scored, an RBI and a stolen base, one of two steals in the series. His other RBI came against 15th-ranked Delta State as he went 2-for-4, including his second triple of the year which is tied for the conference lead.
