LAUDERDALE NAMED REGION PLAYER OF THE YEAR AND FIRST TEAM ALL REGION
Dahlonega, Ga – ABCA/Rawlings All-South Atlantic Region was announced today and North Georgia's second baseman Brian Lauderdale was named Region Player of the Year and selected as First Team All Region. The honors were voted on by coaches from the South Atlantic Region.
Lauderdale hit .391 for the Saints in their first season of PBC play. The senior from Roswell, Ga., was ranked sixth in the PBC in hitting and led the league in hits, runs scored and stolen bases.
