SAINTS SHUT-OUT SOUTHERN POLY 8 - 0
Cleveland, Tenn. – North Georgia College & State University played great today in the first round of the SSAC Tournament against Southern Polytechnic State University as they shut-out the Runin' Hornets 8-0.
In the first game at Olympic Field, No. 14 North Georgia topped Southern Poly 8-0. Kevin Bulger was 3-for-5 with a pair of runs driven in and Brian Lauderdale, Ryan Gurley, Ryan Seay, and David Chastain all had a pair of hits as the Saints collected 15 as a club. Sophomore Michael Whiting got his seventh win with seven shutout innings.
