 The Boar Buckle was designed to provide a distinctive belt buckle representative of the Corps pride and the accomplishment of graduation. The Boar Buckle was created through joint venture between NGCSU and the NGCSU Alumni Association. The Alumni Buckle, pictured, is 3" by 1 3/4" actual size.
The Alumni Buckle is the brother of the current Duty Buckle (presented to seniors at the beginning of each school year and worn throughout the year whenever the Battle Dress Uniform (BDU) is the prescribed uniform of the day) and the Ceremonial Buckle (presented to the seniors at the end of their senior year). The Alumni Buckle is available to alumni of the Corps of Cadets, upon verification and approval of the Boar Buckle Committee. Alumni can purchase a buckle at the price of $35.00. The Alumni Buckle will be engraved with the individuals name, class year, and class serial number.
