What is my ngcsuID#?

Welcome to the ngcsuID# information web site. This site has been designed to provide current information to the North Georgia College & State University community concerning the project to create, implement and use the new ngcsuID#.

Effective May 9, 2005, North Georgia College & State University will no longer use Social Security Numbers as a primary way to identify NGCSU students and employees; instead, a unique identifier called the ngcsuID# will be assigned. The ngcsuID# will be used across all systems, applications, and many business processes throughout the lifetime of an individual's association with the university. This change is in accordance with NGCSU's new "Social Security Number Policy". This step is critical in the continuing efforts to reduce the risk of identity theft for the campus community.
