Welcome to the
LPN/RN Bridge Program
Requirements Application Program of Study Faculty
The LPN to RN Career Mobility Program at NGCSU is designed to facilitate the LPN's career advancement. After admission to the clinical nursing program, the amount of time needed to complete the Associate of Science in Nursing Degree is reduced to one calendar year. NGCSU follows the Georgia LPN to ASN Articulation Plan requirements.
The LPN Career Mobility Program allows the LPN student to validate the first 2 semesters of nursing through the LPN-ASN Articulation plan in the following courses: Nursing 1090 A bridge course designed as a transition to an ASN Degree by NGCSU; Nursing 1020 Nutrition. If other program admission requirements are met, LPN-RN Bridge program begins Summer Semester.
The LPN student then joins the sophomore nursing class in the subsequent fall semester . This LPN/RN Career Mobility program is offered by NGCSU on the Gainesville College Campus, Gainesville, GA,
and Lanier Tech/Forsyth campus.
