Message from the Dean...Welcome to the School of Education at North Georgia College & State University! For over thirty years we have been committed to developing new teacher leaders and agency specialists, providing continuing professional development for inservice teachers, and collaborating with our colleagues in K-12 schools and agencies to ensure that the children in the north Georgia area have the best educational opportunities possible. |

In addition to their incredible commitment to superior professional preparation and continuous development, the School of Education faculty and staff are extremely active in our local schools, agencies and organizations as consultants, researchers, and presenters. They are also marvelous Teacher Leaders and Reflective Practitioners who take great pride in their work. There is nothing more important than the education of our children and youth, and we are honored to be involved in this work. We hope that you will join us during one of the most challenging eras in the history of education in Georgia. We welcome these challenges as opportunities for continuously improving the quality of life for the citizens of north Georgia.
