Mike Cottrell School of Business

Programs of Study

The Mike Cottrell School of Business provides both liberal and specialized education, preparing students to begin professional careers as business leaders.

Consistent with its mission, the Department strives to:

  • build students' business leadership abilities on the liberal arts foundation provided by the University

  • equip all business students, regardless of major, with an understanding of accounting, business law, economics, finance, international business, management, marketing, production and operations, statistical methods, and strategic management

  • provide students with practical leadership experiences inside and outside of the classroom

  • demonstrate teaching excellence in the classroom

  • participate in and provide leadership to relevant professional and community service organizations

  • create and disseminate intellectual contributions in the areas of teaching and applied research

 

 Majors and Minor
