Note: This program is 126 hours, which accounts for the semesters with overloads. Most Spanish majors study abroad during one summer, thereby balancing the number of hours taken during the academic year. The student who does not take SPAN 1001 in semester one will readjust schedule slightly, making room for CMST 3810 or EURO HIST in the 3rd or 4th year. Studying abroad will also allow the student to schedule the final SPAN course before the final semester.
Finally, students should be aware that this degree map should not be interpreted as a contract for deliverable
services. Course rotation schedules, changes in personnel, development of new courses or elimination of old ones,
and any number of other unforseen changes can affect a student's ability to follow this plan.
