Notes:
If FREN 1001 is taken, those credits fulfill three hours under "Other requirements."  Students are urged to begin their
French sequence early and to take at least one course each semester in order to maintain and build proficiency.
The minimum number of hours for the minor is 15 at the 3000/4000 level.  The number of hours required for the minor
depends on the specific minor chosen. Due to the variable number of hours required for the minor, the number of hours
of electives also varies.
The Basic Physical Education requirement is exclusive of the 120 hours required for the degree.
French majors are strongly urged to include a study abroad experience in their plan of study.
