This show by the winner of the 2006 Southern Printmaking Biennale is a collection of individual ideas and thoughts juxtaposed together into a series of prints and drawings referencing and documenting the observation of artifacts, considerations of ancestry and history, and contemplations of the past and present.

Milky: Photographs by Steven Miller

By documenting the immediate emotional reactions of people being doused with cold milk, Seattle photographer Steven Miller seeks to create "staged environments that encourage people to abandon their social identity" in this dramatic blank-and-white portrait series.

Visual Memoirs: Explorations of Self and Heritage

Organized and curated by NGCSU Art students Misty Green and June Koehler, this exhibition explores the role of family an dplace, and pose questions surrounding individual artistic identity as well as sense of purpose within the larger community.

Art Rosenbaum: North Georgia Folk Festival
Posters and Drawings Retrospective

Capturing the artist's love of traditional Appalachian music and his vibrant drawing style, this exhibit features posters created since 1984 by painter, muralist and illustrator Art Rosenbaum to publicize the North Georgia Folk Festival in Athens.

This juried exhibition showcases outstanding two-dimensional art in a variety of media by art teachers of merit throughout the state of Georgia and their most talented students.

This exhibit features the best work by NGCSU studio art students. The juried show will culminate in a reception where exhibition awards will be presented and art scholarships for next year wil be announced.

Art Appreciation Show: Current Work by NGCSU Art Faculty

The works in this exhibition, created by members of the NGCSU Art Faculty, demonstrate the many talents and varied skills of the dedicated artists and educators who contribute so much to the students of NGCSU and the surrounding community.
